We Left the Camp Singing
Crafting the Visual Identity for a Story of Resilience
“We Left the Camp Singing,” directed by Sofia Tapinassi, is a poignant documentary that tells the story of life in refugee camps during the Holocaust. My role was to create a visual identity that captured the depth and humanity of this powerful narrative.
Movie Poster Design
The poster was designed to visually represent the documentary’s emotional weight, drawing inspiration from the raw sketches created by prisoners.
It serves as a visual prelude to the documentary, encapsulating struggle, hope, and the strength of the human spirit.
Designing the Website
The documentary’s website was designed as an immersive digital experience, using a combination of photos and illustrations to evoke the emotional gravity of the prisoners’ sketches.
The goal was to introduce the visitors to an online experience that reflected the documentary’s heart.
Illustrations To Echo The Memory
Inspired by survivors’ stories, the illustrations I made for the documentary try to capture the deep emotions of hope, despair, and resilience.
These visuals intend to add an extra help to the storytelling Sofia worked on, making the film’s message even more impactful.
